Juan “Johnny” Tenorio, Jr., 54, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on Sunday, May 4, 2014.
Johnny was born on Feb. 28, 1960 to Juan A. Tenorio, Sr. and Audelia H. Tenorio in Buda but was raised in Kyle, TX. Johnny enjoyed his career as a Law Enforcement Officer before retiring in December 2012. He enjoyed his time with family, watching and attending sports, such as the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs.
He is survived by his mother, Audelia H. Tenorio; fiancé, Lorraine Camacho; three daughters, Priscilla R. Tenorio, Mia A. Tenorio and Bianna R. Tenorio; one grandson, Braeden De Juan Ortiz; four siblings, Brenda Tenorio, Rebecca Mercado (Paul), Mark Tenorio (Elisha) and David Tenorio (Alice); ten nieces and nephews and thirteen great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Harrell Funeral Home, Kyle. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Friday, May 9 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Kyle. Burial to follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale.
