Rebels selected to TGCA All State 4A ball teams

Honors continued to roll in last month for several Hays High softball and baseball players. In early June, pitcher Sarah Leal and catcher Haleigh Madden were named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) All State softball team in 4A. Madden and Leal were also selected to the Texas Sportswriters Association (TSWA) 4A All-State softball team. Madden was tabbed first team catcher, with Leal second team pitcher. Angelica Arroyo was named third team outfielder, while shortstop Maddy Shannon was named as an honorable mention. In baseball, pitcher Tyler Woodmansee was named second team pitcher in the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association (THSBCA) 4A All-State team.
