It’s Christmas in July as the women at Onion Creek Senior Center gear up for their upcoming second annual Quilt Show and Christmas Bazaar to be held Friday and Saturday, November 7- 8 at the senior center. Along with planning for the quilt show, Christmas gifts are in the making and also thoughts of Christmas baking ideas are in the works. Mark your calendar now and save the dates for this fun fundraising event at the senior center.
Sharing an anniversary date on July 18 are long-time married folks, Mary and Sam Leming married 55 years and Sherry and Bob Lowden married 45 years. Congratulations!
Birthday wishes go out to Tracy (Raymond) Adams on July 16; Cathy Crossland on July 17; Dr. Bob Rosebrock, Vince Gonzales and Dan LaFleur on July 19; Renee Cullen, Linda Stavlo and Ann-Marie (Pecuch) Sheeley on July 20; July Myers on July 21; five-year-old Maggie Koehn and Mike Owens on July 22.
Grab your cowboy hat and come on over to the Onion Creek Senior Center in Buda for the Country & Western dance on Thursday, July 17, from 6 to 9 p.m. Cost is only $5 with music by “Off the Grid.” The center is located at 420 Barton’s Crossing and the dance is open to the public.
