Staff Report on November 12, 2014
Lynda Theora Hills Sierra (1946-2014)

Lynda Theora Hills Sierra, 68, passed away after a five-year battle with Alzheimer’s on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, in Kyle, Texas surrounded by her family. She was born on April 14, 1946, in Austin, Texas, to Ernest Thomas Hills and Fay Haws Hills.

Lynda was preceded in death by her parents and son, Kevin Cleveland. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Roberto Sierra; sister, Dixie Gilley and husband, Wayne; son, Greg Cleveland and wife, Laura; stepson, James Sierra and wife, Amy; grandchildren, Justine Cleveland, Katherine Cleveland, Tyler Cleveland, Heather Naverette, Hunter Sierra, and Mattie Sierra; great-grandchildren, Kross Cleveland, Natalie Naverette, and Caleb Naverette; beloved pet, R2; numerous niece, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, November 10, 2014, in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with Bishop David Wenger officiating. Interment followed at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.

The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the Kyle community for its support, especially Kyle Meals on Wheels, Gentiva Hospice, the Wimberley Alzheimer’s Support Group, Live Well Personal Training and Elite Body Works.
