Gray advances to state

Hays High pole vaulter Meagan Gray clears the bar during an attempt at the 2013 UIL 4A Girls Track and Field state meet at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin. By virtue of clearing the highest mark of all third place finishers at region two weeks ago, Gray earned a wild card spot to compete at the 2015 UIL Girls state track meet Saturday. Gray, who won a 4A silver and bronze medal in the last two years respectively, will vie for a gold medal in Class 6A. (Photo by Cyndy Slovak-Barton)
