Staff Report on November 19, 2015
Lady Lobo hoops finish strong at Drip Classic tournament

Staff report

An even 2-2 mark in pool play allowed the Lehman Lady Lobos to finish third in their group during the Drip Classic Tournament in Dripping Springs from Nov. 12-14.

But Lehman couldn’t surpass the Pflugerville Connally Cougars in the third place game, as they fell 55-44 to close the tournament.

Lehman opened pool play on Nov. 12 by falling to eventual tournament champion A&M Consolidated. But the Lady Lobos responded by cruising past the Cedar Creek Lady Eagles by 19 points to close the first day.

Following a defeat to the host Dripping Springs Lady Tigers on day two, the Lady Lobos rebounded by crushing 14-6A foe Del Valle 58-44.
