A Kyle man has been arrested and charged with sexual assault of a child after he allegedly assaulted and impregnated a 12-year-old in November 2015.
The Hays County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jose Alberto Alejandro-Najarro, 53, of Kyle, for aggravated sexual assault of a child, which is a first-degree felony. Alejandro-Najarro was booked into the Hays County Jail on March 24 and is being held on $250,000 bond.
According to a Hays County probable cause affidavit, a Hays County Sheriff’s Office deputy was assigned the case regarding a possible sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl. The deputy contacted a nurse at a Hays CISD WELL Clinic and had the child forensically interviewed. The Sheriff’s office was called due to a positive result on a pregnancy test conducted at the WELL Clinic.
In the affidavit, the child said she went to Alejandro-Najarro’s residence in Kyle after he asked her to come over and fix his television.
When she went to the house, the child entered the residence and sat on the bed inside. Alejandro-Navarro sat next to her and tried to kiss the victim on the mouth and began to fondle the child.
According to affidavit, Alejandro-Najarro asked the victim to let her touch him and she said no.
He told her it wouldn’t hurt and eventually took the child’s clothes off.
The victim wrote during the interview that the suspect had sex with her.
The victim said she had sex with the suspect one time and has never had sex with anyone else. According to the WELL Clinic Nurse, the victim is currently four to five months pregnant.
The victim said Alejandro-Najarro offered her money to have sex with him again at another time, and asked her to have sex with him repeatedly. The victim refused and hasn’t been back to his residence.
