Kyle scrambles to fix hole at Lehman water crossing

Kyle city leaders continue their quest to fix a 7- to 8-foot cavity discovered at a low water crossing underneath Lehman Road near Steeplechase Park.

As a result of the problem, the city has temporarily closed the thoroughfare as road crews attempt to remedy the issue.

Leon Barba, Kyle city engineer, said in a statement the closure, located near Hallie Drive, was done as the structural integrity of the road at the low water crossing has been compromised.
