Carol was born in Hutto, Texas to Reece Barrow and Annie Amelie Jakobeit February 12, 1945. She went to school in Buda, Texas. She married Billy Jack Norris on December 15, 1962 in Austin, Texas. After 32 years of marriage they divorced and she never remarried.
She was a homemaker for 32 years, playroom attendant at Dart Bowl and Westgate Lanes for 10 years. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, movies, card games, and most of all being a mother/grand mother.
Carol is preceded in death by Reece Barrow, Cora Powell, Pete (Carter Roy) Barrow, Helen Ruth Nix and Melvin Ray Barrow.
Carol is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Alice and Jeffrey Reeves, Buda, TX, Nancy and Geoffrey Blish, Austin, TX. Grandchildren Clayton and Dana Reeves, Richmond, TX, Kevin Reeves, Buda, TX, Kenny Reeves, Buda, TX, Sheldon Wall, Austin, TX and Courtney Reeves, Buda, TX, Great Grand baby, Richmond, TX due to arrive in March, their father Billy Jack Norris of Burnet, TX and Nieces and Nephew Margie Barrow, Belton, TX, Lisa Barrow, Belton, TX, Deborah Ramirez, Leander, TX and Carl Nix, Liberty Hill.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 15th, 2018 at Cook Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home & Memorial Park with Michael Watson of High Point Fellowship, officiating. Burial will follow at Cook Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home & Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Cook Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home & Memorial Park.
