Proposed amendments to the city of Dripping Springs’ Fee Schedule Ordinance were adopted at the Jan. 14 city council meeting. The fee schedule was updated to meet state law requirements and to reflect the increased staff and resources costs for various services including planning and development, building services, and parks services. Changes to the Fee Schedule include:

Proposed amendments to the city of Dripping Springs’ Fee Schedule Ordinance were adopted at the Jan. 14 city council meeting. The fee schedule was updated to meet state law requirements and to reflect the increased staff and resources costs for various services including planning and development, building services, and parks services. Changes to the Fee Schedule include:
• Section 2 – Signs
Adding the city’s sign permit fee chart for ease of use by sign applicants.
• Section 3 – Site Development
Increased fees based on increased staff and resource costs.
Reinspection fees added for projects where reinspection is required due to construction errors which have not been fixed by the applicant.
• Section 4 – Subdivision Fees
Increased fees based on increased staff and resource costs.
Reinspection fees added for projects where reinspection is required due to construction errors which have not been fixed by the applicant.
• Section 7 – Residential Building Code
Reduction of the Swimming Pool Permit Fee to $450, making it comparable to other Central Texas jurisdictions.
• Section 9 – Parks & Recreation
Increased fees based on increased costs.
More programming will be added for the community.
Fees will go into effect Jan. 30. After that date, the updated fee schedule ordinance will be posted on the city’s website.
