Halloween is over, but there was a spooky mystery in the air last week. Many people driving by the old Buda Elementary School campus were curious about what was set up in the parking lot. On Saturday, Nov. 14, Fear the Walking Dead filmed for their show at the location.

Halloween is over, but there was a spooky mystery in the air last week. Many people driving by the old Buda Elementary School campus were curious about what was set up in the parking lot. On Saturday, Nov. 14, Fear the Walking Dead filmed for their show at the location.
This is not the first time the show films in Central Texas. According to an AMC spokesperson, the show has been filming in the area since 2017. Austin is a popular location for film, but many surrounding cities have also made appearances in the show. This would be the second time that Hays County gets used in the show.
For season five, the show used Wimberley ghost town to film a flashback for the episode, “Humbug’s Gulch?”
Hays County and Central Texas has been a popular destination for filming TV Series, TV episodes and movies.
Fear the Walking Dead will air in 2021. More information will be provided as the show comes closer to airing.
