A suspect in the robbery of a Valero convenience store was arrested on Feb. 25 after Hays county deputies observed a vehicle matching a description of that reported during the robbery and made a traffic stop.

A suspect in the robbery of a Valero convenience store was arrested on Feb. 25 after Hays county deputies observed a vehicle matching a description of that reported during the robbery and made a traffic stop.
A robbery occurred approximately 1:40 a.m. at the convenience store in the 9400 block of Ranch Road 12 in Wimberley., Hays County deputies responded to a robbery that occurred at the Valero convenience store located in the 9400 block of Ranch Road 12 in Wimberley. The victim was able to provide descriptions of the suspect and the vehicle used and said the suspect fled east on RR 12 toward San Marcos.
The driver, Hector Miranda (DOB: 03/18/1991), was identified as the suspect and later confessed to the robbery. During the investigation, evidence was collected, and Miranda was arrested and booked into the Hays County Jail for robbery, a second-degree felony. Bond has been set at $25,000.
