James Lee Jarrett Jr, 70, died in his home in Kyle, TX on September 12, 2022. Lee was born in Greenville, Mississippi on October 22, 1951 and was the eldest son of the late Jim and Vessie Jarrett of Seguin, TX. Lee graduated in 1969 from Chofu High School in Tokyo Japan while his father served in the Air Force. After years in the construction industry he went to work for the Texas Department of Transportation and retired in 2008. Lee enjoyed sports and fantasy football. He is survived by his brothers David and Steve (Cindy), Nephews Andrew and Travis (Celeste), nieces Nicole and Ashley (Brian), and great-nieces Emma and Ava, great-nephew Rowan. Memorial service will be held at Rio Vista Park Pavilion A, 555 Cheatham Street, San Marcos, TX 78666 at 3:00 pm on October 22, 2022. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
