There were a total of four bells, which tolled at 8:46 a.m., 9:03 a.m., 9:37 a.m. and 10:03 a.m., commemorating the time each plane crashed. The observance took place at Heroes Memorial Park in Kyle during the 9/11 Memorial Ceremony hosted by VFW Post 12058 and Central Texas AMVETS Post 115.
