DRIPPING SPRINGS – After a sixth-place district finish last season, the Dripping Springs Tigers boys soccer team finished with an overall record of 6-14-2 and failed to make the playoffs.
The Tigers 2025 soccer season is now underway. On Friday, Jan. 17, the Tigers (3-3-1 overall) hosted the Johnson High School Jaguars (1-5 overall). After a cold and windy start, the first half score was Tigers 1, Jaguars 0. The Tigers regrouped at halftime and scored two additional goals to make the final score Tigers 3, Jaguars 1.
For the Tigers, Parker Johnson scored two goals, Grant Funk scored one goal and Dylan Zahn had an assist.
The next home game for the Tigers will be Jan. 31 and they will host the Bowie High School Bulldogs (4-3).
