In Loving Memory of Cassandra Saucedo
It is with profound sadness that we formally announce the passing of Cassandra Saucedo, affectionately known to her family and friends as “Weda,” a woman whose beauty radiated both inside and out. Her aura and energy uplifted everyone around her, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Cassandra was born to Mr. and Mrs. Julian Saucedo of Kyle, Texas on August 13, 1991, and met our Heavenly Father on April 13, 2025. She was a beacon of light in our lives. Her smile, so warm and genuine, and her laughter, so infectious, are forever engraved in our ears and hearts. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel special and loved, and her presence brought joy and comfort to those around her.
She was not only a cherished friend and family member but also a source of inspiration and strength. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering positivity were a testament to her beautiful soul. Cassandra lived her life with grace and dignity, always putting others before herself and spreading love wherever she went.
As a daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Weda touched the lives of many. Her love for her family and friends was boundless, and she was always there to offer support, a listening ear, and a comforting hug. Her relationships were a testament to her caring nature and the deep connections she formed with those she loved. She was devoted to her parents and stuck to them like glue.
One of our favorite memories of Weda is her movie quote from Shrek 4, “I love you daddy.” She had a special talent for making us laugh, often quoting silly moments. Her impressions were on point and absolutely hilarious. Her playful spirit and sense of humor brought so much joy and laughter into our lives, and these moments will always be cherished.
A traveler at heart, Weda had a spontaneous spirit that led her to make plans and, overnight, be off to another state. Two of her favorite places to visit were Las Vegas, which she visited with family and friends, then, California, where she would often visit her oldest sister. These visits were filled with adventure, laughter, and unforgettable memories that we will hold dear forever.
Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will continue to shine brightly in our memories. We will carry her love and light with us, honoring her legacy by living our lives with the same kindness and joy that she exemplified.
Cassandra is survived by her parents, Julian and Mary Ann Saucedo, brother Justin and sisters, Catrina and Christina, her nieces Marina, Sara, Breylyn, Briella, nephews, Robert and Richard, and brother-in-law Richard. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in our hearts forever.
A celebration of her life will be held on June 7, 2025, at The Connection Church, 1235 S Loop 4, Buda, TX from noon to 4 p.m. Let us celebrate Cassandra’s high-spirited life, not with sorrow, but with gratitude for the time we were blessed to share with her. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions or donations be made to Girl Scouts of Central Texas, FBO Troop 00012.
Her example encourages us all to live with purpose, to love without reservation, and to leave lastly marks on the hearts of those around us. Cassandra’s story is not one of an ending, but a beautiful reminder that love, once given, never fades—it only grows stronger, transcending time and space.
Rest in peace, our dear, loving Weda. You will always be remembered and cherished.
