Hays County honors fallen in Memorial Day Ceremony

The San Marcos High School Air Force JROTC prepares to present the colors at the Hays County Memorial Day Ceremony May 26. The event took place at Hays County Veterans Memorial.

  • The Aquarena Springs Symphonic Band plays as the audience sits in silence for the wreaths, which honors the fallen. The wreaths were placed by San Marcos Police Department Chief Stan Standridge, U.S. Air Force, AMVETS Post 104 member Sylvester Villarreal, U.S. Army ranger, American GI Forum member Jerry DeLeon, U.S. Army and VFW Post 3413 member Stephanie Brown, U.S. Army.
