Sales tax revenues increase 10% for Hays Co.

Sales tax receipts continued to rise this month. Buda, San Marcos, Dripping Springs, and Hays County each had revenue increases of roughly 10% compared to August 2015. The city of Kyle had slightly better revenue with a roughly 14% increase over August 2015. Smaller cities Niederwald, Uhland and Woodcreek each had larger increases over last year, with Uhland topping out at nearly 40%.
