HAYS COUNTY – Those who are looking to get a COVID-19 test at a Curative site will need to provide proof of insurance.
The U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) announced that it is no longer able to accept claims for COVID-19 testing of uninsured patients due to lack of funding. Effective immediately, Curative testing sites in Hays county are no longer able to provide free tests for uninsured patients. Claims for COVID testing and treatment will stop being accepted on March 22 at 11:59 p.m, according to HRSA.
