BUDA -- The city of Buda will accept applications for Human Services funding by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1.
The city grants funds for projects and programs that address community needs in the following areas: arts and culture, education and training, community development/community service, environment, health, human services, recreation and animal-related services. Grant requests must come from organizations that are tax-exempt (and/or have applied for tax-exempt status) under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
“Grant applications will be screened by a Review Committee and the applicants should be prepared to make presentations to the Buda City Council,” said City Clerk Alicia Ramirez. “I encourage individuals, groups or organizations who are seeking this funding to review the requirements and restrictions thoroughly before submitting a proposal.”
The application is available on the city of Buda website. Completed applications must be delivered along with five copies, including supplemental information, to the Office of the City Clerk at 405 E. Loop Street, Bldg. 100, Buda, TX 78610.
