During the public forum portion of Monday’s Hays CISD Board of Trustee’s meeting, Carla Perez spoke on behalf of the district’s employees to advocate for a three percent salary increase.
Perez, a bilingual teacher within Hays CISD for 15 years and president of Hays Educator association, spoke to the board about the proposed salary increase for the upcoming school year.
