Best of 2015: Kyle plans for new town government center

Kyle plans for The City of Kyle considered creating a development that would house multiple governmental entities during the July 7 city council meeting.  This town center development could potentially house the city, Hays CISD, and the Kyle Police Department. The initial proposal called for a site at FM 1626 and Kohler’s Crossing and entities would work with Plum Creek Development Partners, Ltd. for its construction. While many officials agreed the merged facility would be an asset talks of such a development have not reentered city council.
