Royal Blue met Gold at the Lehman High Lobo Den Jan. 21 as the Johnson Jaguars and Lehman Lobos girls basketball teams squared off in a key 26-5A contest. Both teams fought hard with the Jags earning the victory 49-27 and keeping pace in the 26-5A playoff chase.
Johnson went on to beat Seguin on Jan. 25, 49-48, giving the Jags a 7-6 record and putting them 5th in District.
Lehman lost their Jan. 28 game against Boerne Champion, placing them 9th in District.
