It’s summer again! Here at the Buda Public Library, the Summer Reading Clubs are in full swing.
We know how important it is to keep reading, especially for students who are still building up their brainpower. Reading and attending educational classes help students fight the “summer slide” that can strip students of knowledge and skills learned over the previous school year. Kids and teens need to keep reading over the summer in order to keep up the skills they build up each school year. This way, when school starts back up, they can jump back in where they stopped, instead of having to fight to regain what they lost over the summer.
