Feb. 12 from 9:30-12 noon at Krug Activity Center is a special event for Black History Month.
The Kyle/Buda Kiwanis Club International and local charity Unforgettable Families and Friends will celebrate Black History Month with a children book give-a-way. Children from the City of Kyle, Hays County and surrounding areas are invited to drop by the Krug Activity Center, 101 Burlson Rd, Kyle, Texas 78640 from 9:30am to 12 noon to select books to take home and keep.
Books available will focus on African Americans and variety of other topics. With a focus on improving and enhancing reading skills, this event will use the month of February to promote reading. Light refreshments will also be served.
