Two people were killed and two others were injured in an accident along U.S. 290 near Retha Drive in Dripping Springs Thursday, according to a DPS spokesperson.
The spokesperson said the accident involved two vehicles. However, it is unknown at this time what the make and model of the vehicles are.
According to the spokesperson, both people killed in the accident were pronounced dead on scene. The identities of both victims is unknown at this time.
Two others were transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

Emergency officials have closed one west bound lane of U.S. Highway 290 near Retha Drive in Dripping Springs following a fatal accident Thursday evening.
North Hays County Fire Rescue Chief Scott Collard said there are two adult fatalities in the accident. No other details are available at this time.
Collard said the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is investigating the accident.
