Members of the Hays High cross country team pose after the District 26-5A Championships at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock. The UIL cross country state meet is within reach for Hays High junior Gabby Bosquez after finishing third in the Girls 5,000 meter run at the District 25-6A Championships Oct. 20 at Old Settlers Park. Bosquez, who finished with a time of 19:19.30, highlighted the Hays Rebel cross country team’s outing at the district meet. Bosquez advances to race in the UIL Class 6A, Region IV championships at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
