KAYAC at the capital

In the first month of the year, several Hays CISD students made their mark on the 84th legislative session in Texas. Members of the Kyle Area Youth Advisory Council (KAYAC), comprised of students from Hays and Lehman high schools, joined State Rep. Jason Isaac as he filed House Bill 647, which would prevent sales of tobacco products to minors.
