The city of Kyle Parks and Recreation Department hosted its first ever National Bird Day event Jan. 5 at the new Cool Springs Park off East FM 150. Hays County Master Naturalist Doray Lendacky led the tour of more than 20 participants and during their visit, they sighted the following on the right.
