For several collegiate ultimate frisbee teams, a muddy field behind Seton Medical Center Hays in Kyle was the perfect backdrop for the 2015 Women’s College Centex Ultimate Frisbee Tournament on Saturday. The event is a partnership between Without Limits Ultimate Frisbee and the University of Texas Women’s Ultimate Frisbee Program. Players braved the increasingly deteriorating field conditions as they slogged and dove their way for points and glory in the first day of the two day tournament. Afterward, the Kyle Fire Department arrived to provide assistance by helping players clean off after the event.
