Our soldiers need training

They really are freaking out – all because of social media “crazies” spouting conspiracy theories that the military is trying to take over Texas.

My husband and I, along with my daughter and her boyfriend, passed the long convoy lines Saturday while travelling through Bastrop. They reminded me of the convoys along I-35 when I was growing up. We would wave to the soldiers while they went to Fort Hood and other destinations.

So, I thought nothing of the convoys Saturday, as we travelled to a wedding in Bellville. I grew up watching convoys, knowing that the military was on a training mission.
