The Hays County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Law Enforcement Center, located at 1307 Uhland Road in San Marcos, was placed on restriction earlier today after personnel received a suspicious letter containing a powdery substance, according to a statement from HCSO at about 12:30 p.m.
Officials from HCSO, Hays County Office of Emergency Management, Hays County Hazardous Materials Team and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) responded to the scene.
