Friends and family gathered at the Kyle Police Department’s training room Sunday as the City of Kyle honored fallen KPD Crime Victim Services Coordinator Samantha Dean by proclaiming Samantha Dean Week from April 19-25. The proclamation was part of the city’s recognition of Crime Victim Services Coordinator Week. The department also recognized Hays County CVS coordinator Renee Sample and San Marcos CVS coordinator Roya Williamson, who have helped Kyle Police following Dean’s death.
