At last week’s meeting of the Goforth Special Utility District, the board president exhorted the audience to “be neighborly.” I’m not quite sure what her definition of neighborly is.
In my neighborhood, we don’t reach over to our neighbor’s property and take something that they are using just because we want to use it. In my neighborhood, if we are planning something that will affect our neighbors, we let them know in advance.
I think her definition of “neighborly” and mine must be very different.
