Comal County Fair and Rodeo

Fajita Fiesta

Claiborne Kyle Log House Fried Chicken Dinner 


The annual Claiborne Kyle fried chicken dinner will be held Sept. 26 from11 a.m.-2 p.m. Enjoy some delicious fried chicken and live music and support a historical landmark. This is the major fundraiser for the year benefiting the Claiborne Kyle Log House (to pay for utilities, upkeep, and anything else).


 


Pioneer Days


This one-day event features more than 40 pioneer craft demonstrations such as butter churning, blacksmithing and quilting. The event will be held at the Dr. Pound Historical Farmstead in Dripping Springs on Sept. 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Ages four and under enter for free. $5 entry for all other ages.


 


Geronimo VFW Country Dance


Glenn Collins and Alibi Band will be playing all your favorite classic country dance music at the Geronimo VFW, 6808 N Hwy 123, Geronimo 78115, on Sept. 27, 3-6:30 p.m. VFW kitchen opens at 2 p.m. $8 donation. The hall is open to all.  Info 830-305-8829/305-5478.
