Lee Roy Glover, 81, of Mountain City, Texas passed away on October 17, 2015. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas on October 15, 1934. He is preceded by his mother and stepfather, John and Nannie Glover.
Roy was self-employed in the construction business. Roy also served his country in the United States Army. He had a passion for music and he loved playing his guitar which he played locally with the Silver Creek Ramblers. Roy also had a passion for collecting and restoring antiques. His yard was immaculate and a sanctuary for wildlife and spending time with his beloved dog Duchess. Roy enjoyed making many new friends and he was loved by all.
He is survived by his sister, Annette Staton; brother, Leon Glover; adopted sister, Ozell Freeman and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 am followed by a funeral services conducted at 12:00 pm in the afternoon on Friday, the 23rd of October 2015, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas. Interment will follow in Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery, Pflugerville, TX.
