From 5-9 p.m. Downtown Buda businesses stay open for shopping, dining, music and fun. Support your local businesses and enjoy an evening out. First Thursday focuses on providing downtown visitors the chance to stroll through the unique local shops, while enjoying food from downtown restaurants. 


 


Kyle Market Days


Kyle Market Days is back for the 2015 season. The second Saturday of the month April – September head to the historic City Square park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for local vendors, arts & crafts, farm to market items, live music and more. This month’s theme is “Back to School.”


 


Art Squared Art Market


Paintings, sculptures, jewelry, crafts, live music and more! Second Saturday art market from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on San Marcos’ downtown square.


 


Buda VoAg Dinner and Dance


The Buda VoAg Booster Club will host a dinner and dance on Aug. 8 from 6 p.m. to midnight at the Painted Horse Pavilion (1750 S. FM 1626 in Buda). Silent auction begins at 6 p.m. Live auction begins at 8:30 p.m. The shrimp boil will be from 6:30-8 p.m. The dance featuring music by the Sam Bentley Band begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 for ages 3-12 and $25 for ages 13 and up. Tickets will be sold at the door. The event is BYOB and open to the public. All proceeds benefit the Buda 4-H and Hays County FFA Youth.  Visit www.budavoag.org for more information.
