Boy Talk Meeting
Hays CISD will host a special information meeting for middle school boys and their parents on Nov. 18, 6:30 p.m. at the Hays Performing Arts Center. Boy Talk is an opportunity for parents and middle school students to direct questions related to sexual health and responsibility to a panel of experts, using an anonymous text program to protect everyone’s confidentiality. The discussion is driven by questions submitted at the event.
‘When I Grow Up’ at BMS
The annual Barton Middle School musical will be held Nov. 19-21 at the Barton Middle School cafeteria. Performances will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday and at 12:30 and 5 p.m. on Saturday. Student tickets are $3 and general entry is $5. Unlike your traditional musical, this is a revue, which means the story is told primarily through song. This musical will have you laughing and in awe of the moments we take on our musical life journey.

Hays CISD schools will be closed Nov. 23-27 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Elm Grove Fall/Christmas Book Fair
Elm Grove book fair will be Monday Nov. 30 through Friday Dec. 4. Find the perfect gift for the book lovers in your family. Shopping at the book fair supports our school library.
Student Council will be offering gift wrap for a donation on Thursday evening.
