Kyle Library reading program a winner

Reading over the summer is the goal of the Kyle Library Summer Reading Program. Each year, the library offers young readers, teens and adults a chance to earn prizes by logging minutes or titles. Local businesses and restaurants contribute a variety of items readers can win, based on earning raffle tickets for prizes. This summer, more than 1,300 readers participated in the program. According to library staff, reading logs will be accepted through Aug. 14 for a chance to win the grand prize. The library also hosted several special programs this summer.
