Movies at Lake Kyle: ET
Join Kyle Parks and Recreation for the last of the summer movies series at Lake Kyle. August's movie will be "ET." Movies start 30 minutes after sunset. Bring your own chairs, blankets and snacks. The event is free and open to the public.
Hill Country Rally for Kids
This 9th annual car, bike, and BBQ event will be held at Camp Ben McCulloch in Driftwood to show local kids they are loved and accepted by their community. Enjoy a bike, car and tractor show, BBQ, live music, fun run, washer tournament, raffles and more. Our goal is to impact the lives of kids who need assistance. Entry fee is $10 for adults and free for children under 18.Proceeds go to Amber’s Angels, the Burke Center for Youth, Dripping Springs Youth Activity Fund, Red Arena and Tiger Totes. Spirit of ‘45 Day
Celebrate the 70th anniversary of the end of WWII at the Commemorative Air Force Hangar located at the San Marcos Airport on Aug. 15.
