Juneteenth Parade in San Marcos


Come out and enjoy the 2015 Juneteenth Parade. The festivities begin at 9 a.m. June 20 at the Dunbar Rec Center on MLK Drive with the parade at 10 a.m. There will also be a Bar-B-Q Cook-off sponsored by Pct.1 Constable‚ David Peterson. Hugs 4 Hope Today Festival


June 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Hugs 4 Hope Today will hold an all-ages festival at Down South Railhouse in Kyle. Come out for a fun-filled day of activities, petting zoo, bouncy house, great food, face painting and live music. Hugs 4 Hope Today Community Outreach is a non-profit providing socialization, connectedness, community events and resources for families with special needs children. 


 


First Responders breakfast


AMVETS Post 115 will host its inaugural first responders breakfast on June 27 from 6:30 - 9 a.m. at 401 Rebel Road in Kyle. 


 


Buda Movies in the Park


Buda continues its June movie series with “Muppets Most Wanted” at Buda City Park on June 19. Movies begin at dusk. 


 


Tomato Roundup


Head to Dripping Springs for the annual Tomato Roundup Saturday. Don’t miss this fun community event that brings together local growers and tomato lovers to celebrate and showcase everything tomato.This festival includes games, food, music, family activities and all the tomatoes you could dream of. The event is held in Founders Park in Dripping Springs June 20 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.


 


COP HD Town Hall Meeting


Join members of the Kyle Police Department for an open dialogue about issues facing our community. Takes place from 6:45 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. June 23 at the Settlement Apartment Homes Community Room located at 210 Amberwood Drive South in Kyle.
