Lake Travis upends Lehman in three

The Lake Travis Lady Cavaliers brought their ‘A’ game to the Lobo Den Tuesday night as they defeated the Lehman Lady Lobos in straight sets, 25-18, 10-25 and 25-10. 

Lehman kept the first set competitive, managing to score a few rallies after falling to a 10-4 start. Sophomore Hannah Starnes held service for five straight points, bringing the score to 14-11. Once Starnes’ service ended, Lake Travis senior Jennifer Doyna responded with six of her own service points and widened the lead to nine. From there, the two teams traded serves with Lehman scrapping to make up for the deficit. Lehman’s Twyla Garcia contributed with a couple of service points but the gap couldn’t be closed and Lake Travis held on 25-18.
