A Buda man was injured Thursday after an officer involved shooting that occurred at a pharmacy in Sonora, TX.
The identity of the 34-year-old man, who was airlifted to and is being treated at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, has not yet been released. The man's condition is unknown at this time.
According to a report from the San Angelo Standard-Times, an employee at Everett's Pharmacy in Sonora confirmed a shooting that took place in front of the store. The employee, however, didn't have any further details. Sonora is located roughly 66 miles south of San Angelo.
Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) public information officer Justin Baker confirmed to the Hays Free Press the scene is being secured by the Sutton County Sheriff's Office. He also confirmed the Texas Rangers are investigating the shooting.
