Kyle Police look to identify armed robbery suspects

Staff report

The Kyle Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying armed suspects who robbed a Golden Chick restaurant in Kyle Tuesday night.

On Thursday, Kyle Police released still images of the suspects, which were captured by cameras inside of the restaurant. One of the suspects was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, while another wore a white hooded sweatshirt. A third suspect was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt. Kyle Police does not have at this time any other descriptions, including height or ethnicity, of the three suspects.

According to a City of Kyle press release, three males wearing ski masks walked into the Golden Chick Tuesday at about 9:25 p.m. Employees at the restaurant told police the men entered the establishment armed with handguns and demanded cash from the business. The suspects fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

Kyle Police Chief Jeff Barnett said no customers were in the business at the time of the robbery and no injuries were reported.

Kyle detectives collected evidence and interviewed witnesses as the scene. Authorities are continuing their efforts to determined the identity of the suspects.

Anyone with information about the incident are asked to contact Kyle Police at 512-268-3232. All tips will remain anonymous.
