Kyle Garden Club
The Kyle Garden Club will meet on Friday, Nov. 6 at 1:30 p.m. at the Kyle City Hall. The program will be on Tree Identification and Care presented by Vincent DeBrock. The public is welcome.
Rainwater Revival
The Rainwater Revival is a free event to learn about rainwater harvesting and water conservation. There will be speakers, vendors, food, music and fun for the annual edu-fest event of the Hill Country Alliance. The event will be held 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 7 at Dripping Springs Ranch Park. Dia de los Muertos Mariachi Extravaganza
The 5th annual Mariachi Extravaganza will be held Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Kyle City Square Park. Enjoy mariachi music by musicians from Chapa Middle School, Simon Middle School, Wallace Middle School and Lehman High School, along with food and family friendly fun.
Hays Veterans Music Fest and Chili Cook-off
Hays Fiesta presents the Hays Veterans Music Fest and Chili Cook Off on Nov. 7-8 at Gregg-Clarke Park (1300 W. Center Street) in Kyle. Flag presentation and color guard will be Saturday morning. This is a free event featuring live outdoor music, family fun, games, kids booths, raffles, food and more. Food, drinks and beer will be sold at the event. Lawn chairs allowed. No ice chests please. Flags for schools
The Live Oak Masonic Lodge will be presenting flags to all 13 Hays CISD elementary schools on Nov. 11. The presentation at Kyle Elementary will begin at 1:30 p.m. that day. The public is invited to attend the presentation.
Manchaca Methodist Craft Show
The Craft Group of Manchaca Methodist Church celebrates its 40th anniversary at the annual craft show and sale on Saturday, Nov. 14 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and on Sunday, Nov. 15 from 12-2 p.m. The craft group works all year for this event and will have hand-made gifts for all seasons, especially Christmas. The craft group helps support many local charities, nursing homes and the food pantry among others. The show and sale is free and held in the family Life Center at Manchaca Road and FM 1626.
