Darlene H. Chaney of Buda, Texas passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015, at the age of 75.
Darlene loved thrift shopping and spending time with friends and family. Gardening was a pleasure and her great hobby. She also loved going to see “her people” up in Waco. Darlene worked at G E Telephone, Coca Cola, White Swan and Ben E. Keith, where she retired in 2010.
She is survived by her daughters, Vicci Chaney and Dale Smith, Debbie and Philip Sughrue, Tina and Tom Waldron, Kim and Jack Harvey. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren, along with numerous nephews and nieces.
Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Lon Chaney, her parents, Charlie Holle and Alice Pankonien, and sister and brother-in-law Charlene and Ralph Bailey.
Burial took place at Live Oak Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a memorial contribution to Sodalis Assisted Living, Buda Branch South Austin Church of The Nazarene.
