The 2015 Hays CISD athletic season begins anew next week as both the Hays and Lehman volleyball teams will hit the court. Monday marks the first day for UIL varsity volleyball programs to begin pre-season practices. Volleyball scrimmages will begin on Aug. 7, with everything culminating at the first official game day on Aug. 10 when the volleyball season kicks off. Lehman will be helmed by first year head coach Candice Warr, who takes over the program after working as the head coach at Paredes Middle School in Austin. Hays is led by second year head coach Stephanie Coates, who guided the Lady Rebels in their first foray into the 6A ranks.
