Boycott football games

After Mr. Pierce and the Hays administration took it upon themselves to remove the Dixie song makes me think they have been hanging around the City of Buda bunch on the water issue.

The decision to ban song from school by Mr. Pierce should have been put to a vote by the student body and public. After all slavery happened years ago and unfortunately we cannot change history, or bury our heads in the sand and pretend it didn’t happen but learn from the pass.

How quickly Mr. Pierce and his admninistration forget where their pay check comes from the taxpayers money. It shames me to think that these people are responsible for our children education and future by teaching them if you don’t like something pretend it didn’t happen and it will be OK.

I hope that the public won’t attend the football games in protest of this decision. I won’t be there.
