Hays County suggests using alternate routes to Wimberley

With traffic from San Marcos to Wimberley increasing dramatically, Hays County officials are suggesting travelers use alternate routes to and from Wimberley and to avoid the Ranch Road 12 Bridge at the Blanco River.
The bridge at the Blanco River is down to one lane, alternating traffic flow with a timed traffic signal, causing "incredible delays" into and out of Wimberley.
To avoid delays, here are some suggested alternate routes:
From the Kyle/Buda area:
· IH 35 to FM 150 West
· 150 W to FM 3237
· FM 3237 to RR 12
From the Austin/Dripping Springs area:
· Hwy 290 West into Dripping Springs
· Hwy 290 to RR 12 to Wimberley
