DRIPPING SPRINGS – In an effort to help residents clean-up the construction mess left by winter storm Uri, Dripping Springs will provide access to two roll off dumpsters.
This will be a construction clean-up that is designated only for Dripping Springs residents, according to the city’s press release. It will be located north of the Masonic Lodge, at 102 Old Fitzhugh Road in downtown Dripping Springs. Dumpsters will be available starting Thursday, Feb. 25, for one week.
Residents can throw construction debris away into the dumpsters like sheet rock, plumbing debris, pipes, construction wood and other construction-related materials.
Prohibited items include: general household trash or waste, chemicals, paint, hazardous material of any kind, tree limbs, brush or yard clean up.
If residents need to dispose of general tree limbs, brush and bulk items, they need to place them curbside and Waste Connections will pick them up. These items are collected every other Friday. To determine the exact dates, Dripping Springs asks residents to see their Waste Connections bulk trash pick-up flyers.
